Specify the actual liquid system, cavity dimensions, fill level and desired movement before selecting snow globe or tumbler fillers. Evaluate the chosen components in a sealed sample made with your intended process; a dry display does not prove liquid compatibility.
Describe the complete system
A filler is one part of a liquid-filled product. Share the liquid formulation with the relevant development team, the intended component concentration, cavity dimensions and filling process. Identify the smallest opening a component must pass through and the clearance available once the container is closed.
Describe the visual target: fast movement, slower settling, large recognizable shapes or a fine reflective background. Do not assume a bead and a flat sequin will move in the same way. Keep the proposed mixture separate from the final approval specification until the complete sample has been evaluated.
Use an observation record
| Observation | Record for comparison |
|---|---|
| Movement and settling | Initial movement and settling under consistent handling |
| Clumping or sticking | Where particles collect and whether they separate again |
| Color and clarity | Changes to liquid appearance and visible color transfer |
| Surface appearance | Coating changes, haze or altered reflectivity |
| Container interaction | Any visible contact marks, deposits or trapped pieces |
| Storage comparison | Agreed conditions, time points and sample identification |
This is a development checklist, not a validated test standard or a set of pass limits. Agree the conditions, acceptance criteria and evaluation period for your intended product. Keep a baseline photograph and label every sample so changes can be traced.
Shortlist by dimensions and finish
Our glitter and sequins and decorative bead fillers provide visual references for discussion. A gold-tone appearance does not establish the underlying bead material, and a reflective sequin photo does not establish its coating behavior in your liquid.
Request the material and finish information for the chosen reference. If a supplier changes a coating or component, decide whether a new sample approval is needed. Do not extend a successful check in plain water to a different formulation without evaluation.
Make sample results part of the order brief
Record the approved component list, size range, mix proportions, sample version and packaging. If your application still needs development, say so in the enquiry so the sample scope can be discussed before a bulk quotation is finalized.
Qula Craft can discuss custom assortments and component sampling for your project. Share the destination, intended customer and finished use when requesting relevant documents. Application observations do not replace the separate review of the finished product or its market requirements.
Questions buyers ask
Are all craft sequins suitable for snow globe liquids?
No universal suitability is established by the category name. Evaluate the selected material and coating in your actual liquid system.
Can I use the same approved mix in a different liquid?
A formulation change can alter the result. Review the change and agree a new sample evaluation before carrying over the previous approval.
Discuss your custom project
Send your references, quantity, intended use, packing brief and destination. We will use those details to discuss a sample and quotation.
