The short answer

Glitter and sequins overlap in decorative use, but the names do not define an exact specification. Compare the actual particle shape, size, thickness, finish and hole pattern, then test the selected material in your intended project.

Compare the physical product, not only the name

Selection pointWhy it mattersWhat to request
Shape and sizeFine sparkle and large visible motifs create different effectsMeasured size range and an actual sample
Thickness and profileRaised or cupped pieces occupy more spaceSide view or thickness measurement

A seller may describe the same decorative shape as glitter confetti, sequins or shaped glitter. Use the reference code and specification to remove ambiguity. Our Glitter & Sequins collection includes distinct shapes rather than one interchangeable product.

Build a blend around one visual priority

Decide whether the mix should read as a recognizable motif, an even reflective background or an accent around focal charms. Start with a dominant shape or finish and adjust supporting pieces. Too many similarly prominent components can make a small retail pack difficult to identify at a glance.

Write down the ratio basis. A small quantity of a large reflective shape can look dominant in a photo, so a visual reference alone cannot reproduce a blend. Approve both the physical mixture and the written weight or count proportions.

Use the real application as the comparison test

For dry shaker cards, compare movement and cavity clearance at the intended fill level. For slime, evaluate the selected coating and particle feel in the actual base. For resin work, inspect the cured sample and note any floating, trapped bubbles or appearance changes.

These craft references do not establish suitability for cosmetics, food, skin contact or every liquid system. Do not transfer a performance statement from a different glitter grade to your selected SKU. Ask for product-specific evidence when a particular claim is important to your project.

Make your custom glitter enquiry specific

Send the shape, target dimensions, finish, palette, quantity and pack format. Include whether you need a single style, a blended bulk bag or separately labeled retail packs. If repeatability matters, ask how the mixture and appearance will be compared with the retained sample.

Use MA006 as a rice-shaped reference or MA005 as an embossed-round reference, then confirm the material and dimensions for your order. Qula Craft can discuss custom assortments and private-label packing without assuming every decorative finish performs the same way.

Questions buyers ask

Do all sequins have a central hole?

No. Check the exact reference. Decorative sequins and shaped confetti can have different profiles and hole patterns.

Can I request a mix of shapes and colors?

Yes. Provide the preferred references, color direction, ratio basis and pack format so a sample mixture can be defined.
